New York Air Brake Acquires Klasing Hand Brake Product Line
Watertown, NY, USA – February 1, 2008 –New York Air Brake (NYAB) announced the acquisition of the assets and business of the Klasing Hand Brake Company of Joliet, IL today. This acquisition adds freight car hand brakes to NYAB’s expanding product line.
Klasing has manufactured hand brakes for the railroad industry since 1913; the product is specified by several railroads and is known for its reliability and durable performance. Klasing supplies both lever and wheel hand brakes as well as related parts and accessories.
