Duties

•Executing the Warehousing operation, which includes the Receiving, Stockroom, and Shipping areas •All supervision/management of the hourly and company warehouse work force for all three shifts. •Assures that all Manufacturing plant activities that rely on the support of the warehouse are satisfied. •This position will also fill the role of a lead corporate warehouse “Processes and Practices” expert by developing “Best in Class” processes and standards for synchronized and efficient operations. •Lead the training and implementation of these standards at other NYAB plant locations. •The Warehouse Manager should have a good understanding of SAP (WM and IM) for problem solving and improvement testing of new applications. •In addition the Warehouse Manager will participate and take a leadership role in Warehouse renovations (physical and systematic) for changing demands and growth within the NYAB group. •Responsible for taking on a leadership role in the optimization of SCE indirect costs associated with manpower utilization, outgoing truck loading opportunities, and transportation models. •Responsible for budget and cost goals within the warehouse.

Required Skills

•4 year BS-BA •Should have good knowledge of MRP Planning Activities •5 years experience in warehousing activities. •5 years Supervisory experience. •Demonstrated experience in implementing change and sustaining gains. •Ability to work in a team environment with Manufacturing Engineers, Planners and Sales experts for the implementation of customer requirements and improvement processes

Preferred Skills

•Understanding of Lean Manufacturing •Understanding of SAP (PP, WM, and SD Modules) Experienced in Value Stream Mapping and Optimization
